The Prince of Wales will visit Sierra Leone and Nigeria

The Prince of Wales will visit Sierra Leone and Nigeria on a four day trip at the end of November.
The main aims of the visit are to celebrate the success of Nigeria’s longest unbroken period of democratic rule since Independence and to highlight Sierra Leone’s emergence from a period of civil war.
The specific themes of the visit will be the promotion of regional stability; national reconciliation; sustainable development and education.
His Royal Highness will visit Sierra Leone from Monday 27th November to Tuesday 28th November, and Nigeria from Tuesday 28th November to Thursday 30th November.
While in Sierra Leone his visit will focus on the capital Freetown. In Nigeria The Prince will visit several cities and rural communities in the mainly Muslim north of the country.
