The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall appoint a new Equerry

The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall have appointed Squadron Leader Jayne Casebury as their next Equerry with effect from April 2006, becoming Their Royal Highnesses’ first female Equerry.
Squadron Leader Casebury, from Prescot in Merseyside, studied English Literature at Loughborough University before qualifying as an English teacher.
She joined the Royal Air Force in 1995 as a Royal Air Force Training Officer covering Training Management, Design and Delivery and has served at various locations across the UK, including RAF Lossiemouth, RAF Benson and the Ministry of Defence in London.
She joins Clarence House after commanding the Airmen’s Command Squadron at RAF Halton.
Squadron Leader Casebury takes over from Wing Commander Richard Pattle who leaves Clarence House after two years on posting to Advanced Command and Staff College in India.
